Elizabeth Maldonado

Elizabeth Maldonado is a Mexican American painter and graphic designer based in Colorado. She attended Colorado State University where in 2025 she earned her BFA in painting and graphic design. During her time in college she has been included in several group exhibitions including her most recent senior showcase in Fort Collins, CO.

Her work explores the themes of memory, identity and nostalgia through the reimagining of notable Batman video game characters. She alters the original characters' faces to create new identities that resonate with her personal childhood memories Her medium of acrylic paint allows her to focus on the fluidity of these changing characters.
